How does the timing of this course work?

The full contents of the 2016 Etsy Bite-Sized Bookkeeping Bootcamp will become available to enrolled students on December 15th, 2016. The course includes 13 lessons that can be worked through at your own pace. Since the goal is to have your books in order for tax purposes, we suggest you plan to finish the course by early April (your tax return is usually due around April 15th!). We recommend beginning coursework in early January and completing one or two lessons per week, but the pace is up to you! We'll release the content in mid-December if you'd like a head start over the holiday break.

About the Instructor

Hi! I’m Janet, and I'm a mom, serial-entrepreneur, spreadsheet nerd, and accountant. I've been selling handmade goods on Etsy since 2011. In 2014, I combined my accounting knowledge with my expertise as an Etsy seller to launch a line of financial spreadsheets and digital tools created especially for other creative bosses.

My passion is to help makers & artisans feel more confident when it comes to their money. I've found that crafty people tend to avoid the financial side of things, due to a variety of reasons (overwhelm, busyness, uncertainty...the list goes on and on!). My goal is to simplify and educate.
